Who am I?

My name is Wissall Homayun, (pronounced Wis-sahl Hoe-mah-yoon). Born and raised in Los Angeles, I am a proud 1st generation Afghan-American who had a dream early on in childhood: to tell stories and entertain. My roots all begin when I was old enough to sing. Whether it was school choir or theater productions - I was there. Coming from an immigrant family with very humble means, entertainment wasn’t welcomed as a real job or source of income, so I thought I could find happiness elsewhere. I studied fashion design and received a BFA with honors. After spending nearly a decade trying to navigate what I could get out of the fashion world - whether it was costume and styling for film/commercial shoots, product development, or even sales. It could never give me the same fulfillment I had when performing. I took the plunge and decided I needed to make my dream a reality!
